I really enjoyed listening to you last night about how you write your books. I just finished Kiss River. I started it Wednesday afternoon and only put it down so I could come last night. I’m starting your new book right after dinner. Thanks.

Joanne, did you know that Kiss River is the middle book of a trilogy? Hope you get a chance to read the first (Keeper of the Light) and the third (Her Mother’s Shadow), too! Thanks for coming last night.

Just read your interview at Robby’s blog. I’m a recent fan of yours (absolutely LOVED The Secret Life of CeeCee Wilkes) and I’ve got my mom hooked now too.

I’ll be following your blog now (thanks to Robby) and I look forward to reading The Lies We Told.

By the way, I read the post about deciding which cover to use, and I want to tell you that both my mom and I choose books based on covers and the way we “discovered” you was because of your covers. I for one am glad you didn’t choose the girl peeking out of the cave cover and that you chose to stay with your “usual.”

The one of the pregnant woman on the cover completely sucks me in 🙂

Diane, how wonderful that your writing friends were there for support!…and such an honor for you to have Quail Ridge Books host an event that also included a lucious cake…you are definitely loved.

Thanks for the feedback on the covers, Lynne. (Robby’s something else, isn’t he?)

    Hey Diane,

I have really been enjoying your books. I just finished reading Cypress River and Summer’s Child. Your storytelling is the best. Twist and turns and a happy ending. I just can’t put them down. Can’t wait to read your latest Lies We Told. Keep up the excellent writing. I am a fan for life.
