The Secret Lives Cover, Revisited

mother and daughter playing in green fieldI think I finally got it right. This will be the cover for the e-book version of my oldie-but-goodie, Secret Lives, which will be out at the end of June. I’ll tell you more about the book when it gets closer. I know many of you liked that dramatic “woman peeking through the cave” cover, but this one is more in keeping with the current look of my books. I had fun, but I’m not going to be going into the graphic arts any time soon. You graphic artists have my admiration!

I really like this cover! It’s very contemporary and pretty like your other newer covers!

You got it…this is not Twilight-goth…looking…this goes along with the story…and your recent books-this will appeal to the reader. I KNEW YOU could do it…thanks for sharing. I reread the book this week…intriguing (as I have said before) Of course, my friends-from across the country-who are in my little EMAIL bookclub-read your books-that’s how I discovered you…I am starting a book club at my home-I hope-this fall (in the midst of planning an all school reunion-all alumni) We are going to read your books…most of the women are already familiar with you…of course…I am so so excited to share you with others. As I stated before, I chose P&Prejudice for the first book-to get us going…they wanted to do a classic-and it is a great book…I think they just wanted me to serve Scones (with that lovely British clotted cream my son and daughter-in-law send me from a store in California)…
Keep working, and I think you would do well choosing your covers.
