I'm in China! Or at Least The Midwife's Confession is.

I just received the authors’ copies of my first book to be published in Chinese. (at least I think this is Chinese! If I’m wrong, I hope someone will correct me!). Sorry the image is so odd. I snapped it on my kitchen counter as I was rushing out the door so you get the bonus of my finger as well as a little bit of granite! I’m such a great photographer.

I think the cover is a little. . . different? I’d love to see some other Chinese covers to see if the sepia is typical. The woman’s hair cut is unusual by western standards, too. I love her hands, though. Beautiful hands.

It’s exciting to know my stories are reaching a new-to-me market. How I’d love to hear from some Chinese readers. Amazing!

I quite like the cover. Its different but very intimate.

I was quite amused yesterday to see one of our midwives ( whose in as a patient) reading The Midwives Confession.
