The United Kingdom's 'Breaking the Silence' Cover

Correction: Yesterday, I put up this blog post stating that this is the Australian cover for Breaking the Silence. Wrong! It’s the UK cover. I love it so much. It has Dylan’s hot air balloons and quiet little Emma, wishing she could fly away. I also stated “the title is the same in the United States, the United Kingdom and Australia! Yay!” Wrong again! The title in Australia is Remembering Me. No wonder people can’t keep my titles straight. Even I can’t.

Reminder, readers. On the books page of my website there is a printable book list to help you know if the same book has different titles in different countries, a problem my publisher and I are working to solve! Different titles were not a big problem in the “old days” before people bought on line, but now you can find websites, for example, with The Secret Life of CeeCee Wilkes, The Lost Daughter, and A Beautiful Lie all for sale in the same place even though they’re all the same book! I hope in the future, I’ll be able to come up with titles that will work across the pond as well as they do in the US.

I love the symbolic nature of this cover Diane. Whoever designed this brought life to your words.
