Can't Complain

P1010064Ah, the beach! I caught this pic of my stepdaughter Brittany taking an early morning shot of the ocean from our deck this morning. It’s been a beautiful weekend and John and I will stay all week. Of course I’m still revising, but my editor and I had a meeting of the minds and I feel very clear in my path. It’s going to go quickly now. I’ll turn the Midwife and her crew in on Wednesday at the latest and then get back to thinking about the next one. Meanwhile, lots of long (long being a relative term for me, of course) walks on the beach, great food and really warm water. I’ll keep in touch!

It’s raining and a little chilly in Phila. today. Enjoy your week. You always feel better when you can see the ocean outside your door.

You are sooo sneaky! I had no idea you were taking my picture while I was taking a picture. Thanks for sharing your Topsail Island paradise with us. Hope you get a lot of work done over the next few days.

Britt, it was so much fun having you and Link and the boys here!
This morning is absolutely staggeringly beautiful. The pups and I had a walk on the beach and I discovered that I can safely let them off leash as long as I have those bacon strips in my pocket. They never left my side!
