Continuing the book info from the United Kingdom, I wanted to share the TV ad my publisher is showing in England for Before the Storm. Before the Storm was released in the UK in May and is doing very, very well there. The story is set in North Carolina and if you’re American, I think Laurel’s accent in this ad will make you smile. I love it!
Ok, THAT’S a good trailer. I have concluded shorter is better (and less is more). Love the accent! Must be from EASTERN North Carolina.
Wish I were going to be in England this year-doing Shakespeare again-would love to check my favorite bookstore in London…Love the accent.
I really like the trailer a lot. I think I agree with Rob that the ‘shortness’ of it is effective. Would love to hear the whole book read in a British accent. ‘Y’all’ in a British accent would be awesome. Lol
