Beautiful. I miss living in S.Carolina. I miss my son’s condo on Miami Beach (he lives on West coast now and the ocean there can’t compare…you are blessed to have your place to go-you deserve it…

Can’t wait to get to TI and see this beach and ocean for myself!!! Thanks for the pictures.

Omigosh, this is absolutely gorgeous!…Diane, I would find it impossible to leave if I had a condo here…don’t know how you say goodbye to such an enchanting place…I’d stay forever.

It was very hard to leave, Margo. We won’t be back till September, since we’ve decided to rent it out during the summer. Sniff.

Diane, you are going back to TI at a beautiful time – we love it there in May and September.

Oh, Diane, sorry you can’t go until Sept…but better to rent it now-and then in the future, you might not want to…I hope you find another place to get some de-stressing time.

Nice view, Diane. Love it. Low tide is looking better than high tide. Do they replenish the beaches down there? They’re working on them now in Ocean City,N.J. Sea Isle and Avalon are next. Are you from New Jersey? I love the way you decorated your place. Your kitchen is beautiful. Sept. is a great time to go to the shore. I hope you find some down-time this summer.

Thanks, Ann W. The beach nourishment project has been put on hold. It’s a big political issue down there and I’m not sure what will happen. Pretty scary at high tide, and I know I’ll be biting my nails during hurricane season. I grew up in NJ. Love the Jersey Shore!

Brenda, I don’t mind not being there in the summer. I’m not a sun-worshiper and prefer the beach when it’s quiet. But it was hard to leave and know how long it would be before we could return.

I agree with you, Diane. Although, I plan to go in August after my Calif and Indy trips…I still prefer the times you are going…I don’t like the hot sun either. Once I quit teaching, it is Sept/Oct for me…hopefully.

    Diane and John,
We spent a week there early in May and it was just wonderful! The weather was warmer than usual, beach was almost deserted, your eating establishments were super (shrimp & grits at Beauchaines absolutely the best!). John’s photos are lovely and I had just ordered the 2 Topsail novels to read while there. We hope to return………Lynne & Jack, Seneca, SC

Lynne, Thank you for letting me know you enjoyed staying in the condo. I’m so glad! Isn’t that beach wonderful when you feel like you have it all to yourselves? I’m glad you’ll be back.
