Here’s the information on accessing my live interview on Blog Talk Radio Thursday night (July 24th). I have to say, though, that I tried to listen to their program last night and was unable to hear the show. I hope those of you who are interested will have better luck!

It’s a fifteen minute program starting at 8:30 PM eastern standard time.

Go to Blog Talk Radio/Circle-of-Seven around 8:20 or so Thursday night and click on the “Today’s Author” program link. You’ll see a countdown to showtime. When the show goes live, there is an orange button to click to listen in. The call-in number to speak with me — 646-200-4071 — will be on your screen. You do NOT need to log in or register to be able to call in.

                                                                                    Hope this works!

Diane, forgot to mention in my earlier post.
I’d like to post the radio information on my book forum in case anyone there would like to listen in or call in. If it’s okay, I’ll just copy and paste your blog in your thread over there.

Great interview Diane! I’m glad I tuned in. I wonder if they have audio transcripts? That would be a good one to share.
    Way to go!

I just listened to the interview – very good! It made me anxious for “After the Storm” to be out.

FABULOUS interview Diane! I was so excited to finally hear your speaking voice and only wish the radio station had let some of us call…I had a great question ready to ask and would have loved to be able to speak with you one on one. Most important tho is the fact you were WONDERFUL and probably reached alot of readers. (-:

I loved the interview as well. It came through my computer loud and clear too. It was wonderful. I only wish it lasted longer.

Thanks to those of you who tuned in to the Blog Talk Radio interview. I thought people could call in, but apparently not. Sorry about that! Glen, to answer your question, they do have a podcast at http://www.blogtalkradio.com/circle-of-seven . I hope also to start a podcast area on my website sometime soon.
As for being able to call in, I’m doing an hour interview on a texas station http://www.khro1650.com/main/ at 10 PM EDT on Tuesday (July 29th). You can listen to the station online and they will supposedly take calls, so I hope that works out a little better for those of you who want to chime in!

Looks like I missed a lot! I arrived home tonight at 8:00 P.M. after a 21 hour trip home–bus from Stratford, plane from London, and car from D.C. whew…but worth it-saw some great plays…I enjoyed everything about Shakespeare country. Diane, I will definitely try to listen to your radio casts-you never cease to amaze me…

Glad you made it back safely Brenda!

    Welcome home, Brenda!

Diane-after reading some of the comments in your guest book–looks like BEFORE THE STORM coming out in trade paperback has been a winner…also the TARGET book has gotten you more publicity and new readers!!! That is so great…I am happy for you, but I am especially happy for those who will now enjoy your books.

Julie: Your memoir is touching…I can “hear the tires”…also the story about your son-so funny…

Julie, I just read your memoir. What a wonderful writer you are! For anyone who missed it, here’s the link to copy and paste: http://www.perigee-art.com/7389/popups/0708/memoir2.php

I didn’t see this until just now. Thanks, ladies!! And thanks for putting the link, Diane. I’ve come off my cloud and am slogging through revisions again. I’m getting really sick of my story and I’m ready to move on, but I know it still needs lots of work. Feel like it really needs to be perfect before I can start querying as a first-timer.
And waahhh, here I am in Texas and it’s 12 a.m., so I just missed your interview by a couple of hours. Durnit! I’m going to listen to the podcast of the other, though, which I also missed because of the slumber party.

I know how it feels to get sick of one’s story! It’s great that you’re putting so much time and attention into it, though. Keep us posted.
