CeeCee's in Time for Christmas!

cover-ceecee trade.jpgWooHoo! I didn’t expect the trade paperback edition of THE SECRET LIFE OF CEECEE WILKES to be available until after Christmas, but I see that it’s already available at Amazon and Barnes and Noble, among other online stores. Not sure if you can find it in the “bricks and mortar” stores yet, since they are usually a bit slower to get books on the shelves, especially at this time of year. But if you were hoping to give CEECEE as a Christmas gift, you–and I–are in luck.

Oh, cool. I was just asking my mom the other day if she read this one when I had it out from the library a few months ago (she usually reads behind me so she can avoid the library trip), and she hadn’t. I was disappointed the other night when you posted that it wasn’t until February. Perhaps she will get a stocking stuffer after all. 🙂
I think this was my favorite so far of your books, although I still have probably half to go. I’ve got three in my TBR pile now along with about 500 other books.
So many books, so little time …

    Must read
ANNETTE VALLON by James Tipton–she was Wordsworth muse supposedly.
Amidst shopping for much needed jeans and sweaters this weekend, attending parties, and trying to get my husband around…I managed to read my last book until I get on vacation…I loved it…well worth the read…

Julie, it seems to be the favorite of a lot of people, for some reason. I’m fond of it myself. 😉
Thanks for the recommendation, Brenda. I’ve added it to my list. Right now, in between the final edit of BEFORE THE STORM, I’m reading EAT, PRAY, LOVE which is such a treat.

    Merry Christmas girls.
We arrived in southern Florida Thursday night. My son lives in a condo right on the ocean…so far, our time has been spent in a marathon of shopping…the crowds are not in appearance-I guess a sign of the economy. Hopefully, we will enjoy the ocean, etc., soon. I had no room to bring books so am missing reading…but will go to the library or bookstore soon.
We are here until Jan. lst., and there is a good chance, my daughter and her family will arrive from Indy about December 30-a day or so before we leave.
Hope you all enjoy the holidays…
    Brenda

I just finished reading The Secret Life of CeeCee Wilkes. What a fantastic book! It had me mesmerized from the very beginning. I love how the main character, CeeCee was developed. From a young naive girl to adulthood and into her forties. This is a definitely enjoyable read. Thank you Diane Chamberlain for your creativity.
