Mary Alice is Coming!
I’m excited! Mary Alice Monroe will be speaking at a nearby Borders Monday night, April 30th and of course she’ll be staying at my house. It’s been too long since I’ve seen her. I know many of you love her books, so I’ll see if I can get her to stop by to say “hi.”

Oh, I’d give anything to be in Raleigh next Mon and meet you both! How wonderful that you have each other as friends. If I’m not reading a Diane Chamberlain novel I’m absorbed in a Mary Alice Monroe book! And if I’ve exhausted all that these 2 have written I read Anne Rivers Siddons. Isn’t it odd that all of you live in and around the Carolinas and usually all your books take place there. Must mean I need to visit soon which I am hopefully planning to do next year when Diane’s new book comes out…I want to meet you in person at a book signing Diane! I am so absorbed with the loggerhead turtles right now since finishing THE BEACH HOUSE for the 2nd time and am now onto SWIMMING LESSONS. Diane, plz tell Mary Alice how much her conservation efforts inspire me. I’m actually planning on painting a loggerhead swimming thru the sea as soon as I get my next commission out of the way!
