I love it Diane!…nice sharp lines and easy to read. LOVE the new lighthouse picture! Oddly enough, I finished an acrylic painting 8 x 16 that looks almost exactly like the photo! I couldn’t believe it when I saw it on your website this a.m….my painting has the lighthouse on the cliff at night so it’s quite dark and what IS different is I have a moon in the pic with colors of light yellow and purple/violet radiating from it into the sea but otherwise it looks so much like your photo…our minds must be thinking the same or something…anyway, I think it’s a beautiful new website!

Slight hold-up on the purchase-out-of-print books page. For those of you who have tried to order more than one book and were charged more than $4 for shipping and handling, hang on until tomorrow afternoon. The system should be fixed then. No matter how many of the books you order, the s and h will be no more than $4. Sorry for the inconvenience!
Love the site! thanks for the note about the s and h. i did try to order more than one and couldn’t get it so that I only had to pay one time. when I clicked on the second one the first one disappeared. I will try again tomorrow.
On another note, I finally got The Bay at Midnight and I’m really enjoying it. Its a great book so far and I can’t wait to see how it comes out. I’m sure I’ll know by the end of the weekend!
Yes, Cheryl, you’re not alone with the ordering problem! I hope I have enough books to meet everyone’s needs. My webmaster promised a new set-up tomorrow, with a shopping cart and a one time s and h charge so i hope it will eventually work smoothly. Until then, thanks for your patience.

Thank you, Ann. I’ve actually been here all along, but those people who used to get to my blog via my old website were left with no way to find me due to technical difficulties with the old blog. I love how easy this one is to use and we’ve had some good discussions! Glad you can join us. (thanks for the compliment on the picture. i’m very lucky to have a significant other who’s a photographer!)

As to my trip to speak at the church-revisit where we lived-went wonderfully
Charter members (30 years anniversary of church) who are LIVING were all there but 2 (my ex husband couldn’t make it and one other…)
Took me back…the pictures of me and my family (I was in my 20’s) WOW!!!!
First: ordering the books. Don’t try until Monday afternoon at the earliest. My webmaster’s poor little boy fractured his fingers in his locker, so needless to say, she was called away from the computer and unable to set up the on-line store appropriately. Sorry for the delay.
Second: Hi Alex! Good to see you. Actually, you have to click where it says “home” next to the lighthouse. I’m also going to try to get a link to my site on the side menu, but the mother of the little fractured finger boy will have to do that, too, so it may take a while!
