John picked me up from the airport yesterday and we drove straight to the hospital. Here I am holding little GW, just a day and a half old. We’re going to have such fun!
GW stands for what???
He is a cutie–congratulations…I am sure you will enjoy him…
Glad you are home safely…
Things here are of course very hectic…
Brenda
Hi Brenda, I decided a while back to refer to my grandkids by initials because it makes me nervous to refer to them by name so publicly. Make sense? All I can say is his initials have nothing to do with our president!
I bet you’re up to your eyeballs in work. I hope you can take tomorrow off.
I totally agree with you-sorry about that. THANK GOODNESS the initials are not what I thought they might be-you saw right through that….
I am working on typing notes for comps today…and glued to the television…when we don’t fly out of Charleston, WV-where we live-a little airport, sometimes, we go out of Lexington. My son used to fly into there when he came from Texas (law school, college, and work)…Years and years ago-my ex’s brothers/sister, etc. used to fly into there…am very familiar with the airport…also I go through Lexington each time I go to my daughter’s…
This is such a tragedy….
P.S. My first day off will be next June…
I’m glad your home safely and can now hold GW in your arms…(ditto, Brenda on the name…we must think alike)…he’s a beautiful baby and I’m so happy for all of you…
Lorene, I apologize. I had a problem with picture size and had to re-do the post, so your comment probably got lost in the shuffle. He is fun to hold! I’m in total love and awe.
Margo, you’re right. GW/GB is hereby re-christened “G”.
