A Rookie Tribute–warning: Weep Alert!

First, he’s still alive, so don’t worry!
On July 19th, I posted a link to a video clip of golden retriever, Rookie, and his owner, Carolyn, dancing together. Rookie is retired now, and 13 1/2 years old. The Musical Dog Sport Association put together this touching tribute to him. I’m still wiping my eyes. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TlKTYyjDwnI

I love my shelties, but I sure do miss my goldens. 🙁

Diane, maybe Jet and Keeper would like a brother or sister and you could get another Golden to keep them company…

dearest margo. . . are you out of your mind? lol. if i got a third dog, i wouldn’t have john. at one time he lived with 22 bernese mountain dogs (some adults and 2 litters of puppies), so when i wanted to get a second dog, he was pretty freaked out, fearing that i wouldn’t be able to quit. now when i want to yank his chain, i talk about getting a third dog. 🙂 i have to say, he adores jet. and jet adores him.
