Skink in the House!

Look at tskink.jpghis beautiful little guy! My housekeeper, Delilah, was vacuuming when this baby skink hopped on her hand. Here he is on her index finger. I don’t know how he got inside, but we put him back in the front yard where the grown up skinks can take care of him.

hello Diane. I am from Venezuela and I am studying in a public university to become a teacher of English, and this semester ( May 2008) I’m taking English Literature. I told my professor that every night I have vivid dreams and I am able to remember them so she asked me to write down ( in English not in Spanish) all of my dreams as a writting practice. so far, she’s been vey pleased with my writing and she would like me to start writing more seriously- her name is Marlu Schiller from U.S. and is about 70 years old, so she has become once in a life time opportunity to learn from her- well, the point is that last night (April 30, 2008) I dreamed with a tiny skink. I decided to google some pics of skinks and to my big surprise I saw a pic of exactly the same skink which was in my dream, I clicked on the pic and I found a blog of an award winning author!- believe me, I never knew about you but I could get to your blog just due to my dream¡ would it be a reason why this is so?- I might never know, but anyway, I am glad to meet you and I’ll try to read one of your books though we do not have them here in Venezuela.
I don’t want to sound bizarre to you, but everything I have written so far is true. well, I hope you hapen to read this message someday, and I would be greatful to have a reply from you.
    Hugs and kisses¡…… Carlos

Carlos, I’m glad your dream brought you to my site! I hope you’re able to find one of my books and that you enjoy it. I also hope you continue with your writing. Paying attention to one’s dreams is a wonderful way to get inspiration.
Thanks for stopping by the blog.
